Colombia is vibrant, diverse, and its biodiversity is immense. I spent four weeks traveling by public transport, exploring the mountains, the coast, cloud forests and rainforests. There is even a coastal mountain range with peaks over 5,000 meters high, visible right from the beach. Dense forests and semi-deserts lie almost right next to each other. This sheer variety is hard to fully understand and it is definitely impossible to discover everything within just one month.
