Oman

Road-tripping with a tent on the Arabian peninsula: just shortly before Covid, we traveled through Oman with a rental car and camping gear. Since wild camping is legal in Oman and very popular among locals, it is an easy way to explore the country. We ended up camping on beaches, cliffs, in the middle of nowhere and sometimes right next to the road. The beautiful desert landscapes and the welcoming local (both human and animal (see below)), make this a place I'd like to return to one day.
