I had 10 days to hike part of the Lycian Way in southwestern Turkey. At the beginning of the season, the higher mountains were covered in snow and the higher backcountry still felt a bit like winter. I didn't even see a handful of people on the trail. The local people I met were incredibly helpful and friendly. And aside from the nature along the coast and the great sea views, Istanbul totally won me over as a city. Most photos were taken in the city rather than on trail.
