West Africa

When I traveled to West Africa I didn't really know what to expect, and that's what probably made it exciting. Most of the regions the tour took me through were completely off the beaten track and no tourists were seen for many days. The people were super friendly, while the heat and road conditions were quite a challenge. In return, there were spectacular waterfalls, remote villages, baobabs, and a variety of wild animals to admire.
